While operational revenue was lower due to the completion of certain projects and the absence of major new project awards, IL&FS managed to report a Profit Before Tax of Rs.0.19 crore. The Chairman addressed the ongoing resolution of the company under the aegis of NCLT / NCLAT, noting that this process has significantly constrained the ability to bid for new projects, which is reflected in the depleted Order Book.To ensure organizational stability and utilize available resources while preserving its technical and financial qualifications, the company has adopted a prudent strategy. It is undertaking select projects on a back-to-back contractual basis. This approach aims to support operational continuity and minimize cash burn from existing cash resources, thus safeguarding liquidity throughout the ongoing Resolution Process.

The management expressed confidence that the resolution process, subject to the Orders of Hon'ble NCLAT, is expected to unlock project acquisition capabilities.
