IL&FS Engineering and Construction Secures Subcontract for Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS Viaduct Design and Construction​

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited has been retained through a subcontract arrangement by Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited for the design and construction of Elevated Viaduct and Ten Elevated Stations for Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS.

The contract encompasses work spanning Chainage 600 m to 11400 m, which includes the Elevated Viaduct and ten stations: Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala. The scope of work also includes a spur line leading towards the Depot of Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS (excluding Architectural finishing).

The total cost of the contract is Rs.414.05 Crore, inclusive of GST and other taxes, representing 49% of the total Contract value awarded by Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company confirmed that it has received the requisite Letter of Award from the Lead Member of the Consortium, which serves as the Main Contractor for the project.
