IFB Industries Ltd Highlights Sustainable Practices and Operational Scale in FY 2025-26

IFB Industries Limited has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year 2025-26, detailing its extensive operational footprint and commitment to environmental stewardship across its domestic and international markets. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the company’s business activities, workforce dynamics, and ESG performance as part of the company's 50th Annual Report.

The company maintains a significant national presence with 10 plants and 83 offices, supported by one international office. IFB serves both domestic consumers across India and an international customer base spanning 19 countries. The business activities are broadly divided between Home Appliance products and Engineering products, with these divisions accounting for 80.14% and 17.09% of the total turnover, respectively.

Focus on Environmental Responsibility

IFB Industries has demonstrated a strong focus on resource efficiency and climate action. In terms of energy management, the company sources 52% of its total electricity consumption from renewable energy. The manufacturing operations have also prioritized water conservation, achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) across all major manufacturing units through advanced Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), and comprehensive wastewater treatment systems.

Waste management practices emphasize the "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle" principle. In FY 2025-26, the company generated a total waste of 29,256.07 metric tonnes, down from 26,324.16 MT in FY 2024-25. A key aspect of resource efficiency is noted through the reclamation of materials; for instance, 73.30% of the Washer electrical motor Aluminium Case was reclaimed during the reporting period.

Commitment to Social Well-being and Labour Standards
