Ideaforge Reports ₹68.6 Cr Q1 FY27 Revenue, Positive EBITDA; Targets FY27 Order Book Execution by Q3

Mumbai, August 10, 2026: ideaForge Technology Limited, a pioneer and pre-eminent market leader in the Indian unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) sector, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported revenue from operations of ₹ 68.6 crore during the quarter and maintained positive EBITDA.

The results indicate continued progress in the company's financial health, despite ongoing challenges presented by global supply chain disruptions and component availability since Q4 of FY26. ideaForge remains focused on completing the delivery of its FY27 opening order book by Q3, aligning with customer timelines.

Reinforcing its technological leadership, ideaForge successfully secured DGCA Type Certification for the Q6 V2 GEO UAV, which will expand its opportunities across advanced GIS and enterprise mapping applications within the domestic market. The company also achieved a significant operational milestone: its indigenous UAV fleet surpassed one million customer flights across challenging terrains and conditions, demonstrating the performance and reliability of its platforms.

Strategic Growth and Funding

The quarter was characterized by strong strategic developments and capital generation. ideaForge raised ₹ 500 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), attracting substantial interest from domestic and international institutional investors.

Furthermore, the company secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Government of India under the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme. This funding is designated for financial assistance up to ₹ 151 crore toward developing its middle-mile logistics platform, YETI. YETI is designed to lift loads up to 200 kilograms and achieve ranges up to 200 kilometers depending on the load.

Mr. Ankit Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of ideaForge Technology, commented on the results, stating that Q1 FY27 marked a steady start supported by continuous advancement in key strategic programs. He noted that entering FY27 with an order book exceeding ₹ 300 crore provided a stronger starting point, supporting commitments aligned with customers' schedules.

"Our strategy has always been to own the consequential technologies that matter the most," Mr. Mehta stated. "Our continued progress across resilient communication and navigation, autonomy, edge AI, software platforms, logistics UAVs, and combat drone technologies reinforces this approach and strengthens our ability to address evolving customer requirements."

Operational Focus on Defense Technology

ideaForge is making notable headway in developing sophisticated defense capabilities. The company has advanced its combat drone capabilities, including air-launched effects and fuel-hybrid long-endurance capability for ZOLT. Development efforts are also underway for long-range strike platforms and loitering munitions through internal and collaborative initiatives.

Regarding future procurement, Mr. Mehta mentioned that the higher operational procurement limits established for field commanders of Indian Defence Forces under DFPDS 2026 are expected to accelerate procurement activities in Q3 and Q4. The company is also tracking opportunities arising from the government’s reported plans for large defence procurement totaling about ₹ 20,000 crore through the Fast Track Procurement approach, with one opportunity already in the RFP stage.

Financial Performance Snapshot

The financial health of ideaForge demonstrated improvement across several metrics during the first quarter of FY27 compared to previous quarters. The company continues to advance its technology and execution capacity, supported by this capital raise and RDI funding.
