The initial public offering (IPO) of Hy-Tech Engineers continues its powerful run on Day 2, showcasing overwhelming investor interest. The issue has been subscribed at 9.22 times as of 10:15 am on August 25, according to data from the NSE. This strong market reception highlights the demand for industrial sector participants.

The Rs 136-crore IPO garnered bids for 16,72,92,903 shares against a supply of 1,81,45,406 shares on offer. The performance across investor segments reveals robust market confidence in the company's growth trajectory.

Investor Demand and Grey Market Indicators​

Retail investors have driven significant demand for the IPO, subscribing to the issue at 13.19 times. Non-institutional investors (NII) also showed strong support, subscribing their portion of the shares at 11 times.

In parallel, the grey market is showing exceptional enthusiasm for Hy-Tech Engineers. The Grey Market Premium (GMP) has been recorded at Rs 30 by InvestorGain. If the shares list at the upper end of the price band of Rs 53, this translates into a potential listing gain of 56.60 percent.

IPO Structure and Anchor Investment Success​

The offering is structured as a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 60 crore, coupled with an offer for sale (OFS) totaling 1.42 crore equity shares valued at Rs 75.73 crore at the upper end of the price band. The IPO maintains a defined price band of Rs 50-53 per equity share and is scheduled to close on August 27.

Anchor investors contributed substantially before the public issue launch. The company successfully raised Rs 40.72 crore from eight anchor investors. WhiteOak Capital Asset Management, which is part of the White Oak Capital Group founded by veteran investor Prashant Khemka, emerged as the largest anchor investor, securing 43 percent of the total allocation.

Financial Health and Future Allocation Plans​

Hy-Tech Engineers has demonstrated solid financial momentum, reporting a 15.15 percent year-on-year increase in profit to Rs 22.6 crore in FY26. Furthermore, revenue from operations rose by 17.4 percent reaching Rs 189.4 crore.

The proceeds generated from the IPO will be strategically utilized for company expansion and financial stability. A significant portion of the net proceeds, amounting to Rs 29.96 crore, is earmarked for the procurement of machinery and equipment. This expansion will take place across its Kavathe Unit, Shirwal Unit, and Pithampur Unit-I. An additional Rs 16 crore will be dedicated to loan repayment, with the remainder allocated to general corporate purposes.

Operations Overview and Market Listing Details​

Hy-Tech Engineers operates on a business-to-business model, catering to both domestic and international markets. The company services original equipment manufacturers and various industrial customers.

With six manufacturing facilities strategically located across the country, the company is well-positioned for growth. The listing of Hy-Tech Engineers’ shares has been slated for September 1, with trading set on both the BSE and NSE platforms.
