Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd (HOCL) has announced the commercial reopening of its Phenol Plant located at the Kochi unit. The plant resumed operations with effect from June 12, 2026.The re-opening follows a period of temporary shutdown, which was necessitated to conduct statutory testing related to the BPCL LPG supply cross country pipeline. HOCL confirmed that the necessary testing has been completed and the facility is now back in full operational capacity for commercial production.
