Hindustan Copper Limited Extends Additional Charge for Director (Mining)​

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) announced that Sanjeev Kumar Sinha will continue to hold the additional charge of Director (Mining) beyond March 21, 2026. This extension follows an order from the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, received on March 20, 2026.

Sinha, who is currently Director (Operations), initially assumed the additional responsibility on March 28, 2025. The extension is being implemented as an interim measure while awaiting approval from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) for a formal extension.

Sinha is not related to any other member of the Board of Directors or Key Managerial Personnel, and he is not debarred from holding the office of director.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sinha holds a Mining Engineering degree from Nagpur University, an MBA (HR) from IGNOU, and a PhD in Mining Engineering from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. He has over 25 years of experience in the mining sector, previously with NMDC Ltd.
