Operational and Strategic Milestones

The company reported a robust order book backlog of INR 845.5 Cr as of March 31, 2026. The sustained growth visibility is attributed largely to railway sector expansion and ongoing government initiatives.

On the strategic front, Hind Rectifiers secured notable export orders for Traction Transformers to Germany and IGBT-based Inverters to the USA, further enhancing its global footprint. Operational capacity was strengthened with the successful commissioning of the specialised Copper Conductor facility at Sinnar, which has a capacity of approximately 350 TPM. This backward integration improves supply reliability and cost efficiencies while creating opportunities in external markets.

In India's rail sector, the indigenous propulsion system for Indian Railways advanced into the validation and field trial stages, marking a significant step toward executing existing orders and participating in future railway propulsion tenders. Additionally, the company received a significant order from Indian Railways for a next-generation propulsion system designed for passenger locomotives.

The company also expanded its international presence by completing the strategic acquisition of the business and operating assets of Elventive France (erstwhile BeLink Solutions), establishing a European Hub for Next-Gen Robotics, Power Electronics, and EMS.

Furthermore, the Board of Directors approved the issuance of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1, reflecting the company's strong financial position.

Management Commentary

During the year, Chairman & Managing Director Suramya Nevatia highlighted that the company delivered a strong performance driven by robust execution across railway and industrial businesses.

Nevatia commented on the consolidated revenue growth of 52.5% YoY to INR 999.1 crore and the increase in EBITDA by 19.6% YoY to INR 84.1 crore. He emphasized the strengthening operating cash flow of INR 85.8 crore in FY26, representing a robust growth of 141.0% YoY.

He stated that the continued investments by Indian Railways in electrification, rolling stock modernization, and safety systems provide strong long-term growth visibility. The acquired assets from Elventive France are expected to enhance capabilities in EMS, robotics, and printed electronics, expanding the company's access to high-value sectors including defence and aerospace.
