HCLTech Recognized by TIME as One of the World's Most Sustainable Companies for 2026

HCLTech has been named to TIME magazine's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list, marking its second consecutive year achieving the recognition. The global technology company ranks among the top five professional services companies and holds the highest ranking among India-headquartered firms in this category.
The ranking, compiled by TIME in collaboration with Statista, evaluated over 5,800 global organizations using more than 20 sustainability indicators. These factors cover commitments and ratings, reporting transparency, and environmental and social stewardship practices.
This sustained recognition reflects HCLTech's commitment to aligning with the UN Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals. In the fiscal year 2026, the company achieved significant benchmarks in its sustainability efforts. It replenished 51 times more water than it consumed and secured a zero waste-to-landfill platinum certification across all facilities it owns. Furthermore, HCLTech advanced its net-zero goals by reaching its 2030 SBTi-validated emissions target four years ahead of schedule.
Vipul Arora, Global Head of Sustainability at HCLTech, stated that the repeated recognition demonstrates progress in embedding sustainability into the core of the business and advancing the ambition for a net-zero goal by 2040. He emphasized that the focus remains on scaling impact through innovation, partnerships, and responsible practices to create long-term value for clients, communities, and the broader ecosystem.
