NEW YORK and NOIDA, India, August 3, 2026 - HCLTech, a global technology company, has successfully completed the purchase of HPE's Telco Solutions business. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in HCLTech's evolving telecom strategy and strengthens its position as a leader in providing AI- and engineering-led solutions for Communications Service Providers (CSPs).

The completion follows the successful integration of HPE's Communications Technology Group (CTG) business in 2024. The strategic move is intended to assist CSPs who are accelerating investments into AI-driven network transformation, next generation infrastructure, and autonomous operations. By combining the specialized expertise, intellectual property (IP), talent, and solutions from both CTG and Telco Solutions with HCLTech's existing capabilities, the company has established a differentiated proposition for CSPs globally.

This combination positions HCLTech to aid CSPs in accelerating AI-led autonomous operations across the spectrum, from radio access to core network functions. The business expansion captures growth opportunities in several critical areas, including network virtualization, convergence and modernization, multi-cloud and edge datacenter networking, Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), private 5G implementation, and Telecom OEM ecosystem transformation.
