
Gujarat Pollution Control Board Grants Permanent Revocation of Closure Directions for Piramal Pharma's Dahej Site
Piramal Pharma Ltd has announced that it has received an order from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) granting a permanent revocation of closure directions regarding its plant located at Plot No. D-2/11/A/1, GIDC Dahej in Gujarat.The reversal follows previous communications concerning orders issued under Section 33A of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 by the GPCB. These previous communications related to the plant situated at the Dahej Site, which is located in Taluka Vagra, District Bharuch.
Piramal Pharma confirmed that it has now obtained the permanent revocation order from the GPCB concerning the closure direction for the Dahej Site.
The company stated that operations at the Dahej Site continue to proceed in the normal course and remains committed to adhering to the highest standards of environmental compliance.
