Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Changes Managing Director Following GoG Notification
The Government of Gujarat (GoG) has completed a change in the leadership of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (GNFC), withdrawing the nomination of Shri Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS, as Managing Director and nominating Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, to hold the additional charge of Managing Director.The decision was made by the GoG, as detailed in its notification dated September 05, 2026.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, has been nominated by the Government of Gujarat to assume the role of Managing Director on the Board of the company. His formal appointment as Managing Director is slated to occur at the ensuing meeting of the Board of Directors.
The company has stated that the necessary formalities related to the transition, including the completion of all statutory procedures for the induction of Shri Sanjeev Kumar and the relinquishment of Shri Rajkumar Beniwal as a Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel, will be completed in due course.
The handover and assumption of charge for the involved individuals will be finalized in due course, and the exact dates of relinquishment and assumption of charge will be communicated separately.
