Gandhinagar, January 3, 2026: Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL) (BSE: 532702 | NSE: GSPL) has announced the appointment of Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, as Joint Managing Director, marking a significant leadership update at the state-run natural gas transmission company.

Professional Background and Experience
Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh is a 2003-batch IAS officer with over two decades of administrative experience across key departments in the Government of Gujarat. Prior to joining GSPL, she served as Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat.Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
During her career, she has held several critical roles, including District Collector in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Anand, and has received multiple state and national recognitions for administrative excellence. Her experience also spans infrastructure and energy-related institutions, having served as Vice Chairman and CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board, CEO of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, Managing Director of Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, and Director of Technical Education.
She has previously held or continues to hold directorial positions on the boards of Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited, GSPC LNG Limited, Dholera International Airport Company Limited, Gujarat Gas Limited, and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited.
