The "Grant for Research and Entrepreneurship across Aspiring Innovators in Technical Textiles" (GREAT) scheme is designed to support young innovators, scientists, and aspiring start-up ventures. Furthermore, 15 research projects from an educational institution in Telangana have also received approval under specific guidelines set by NTTM.

An Evaluation and Monitoring Committee (EMC) is constituted under NTTM. This EMC reviews all technical and financial parameters of the start-up proposals before submitting recommendations to the Empowered Programme Committee (EPC). A dedicated Review and Monitoring Committee also oversees the progress of these approved ventures, authorizing subsequent grant installments.
