Mumbai, August 24, 2026: Godrej Industries Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Haryana, outlining a future investment plan of approximately ₹20,000 crore in the state. This commitment is projected to create around 40,000 jobs and reflects the Group's confidence in the long-term economic potential of Haryana.

The proposed investments build upon the Group's established presence in the region. Godrej Industries Group has, to date, invested approximately ₹12,000 crore in Haryana and employs around 9,000 people across its various businesses.

Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) will lead a significant portion of this investment plan. Having invested approximately ₹11,000 crore in Haryana, GPL intends to invest a further ₹16,000 crore by FY28. GPL currently manages 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat, and Kurukshetra, with these projects expected to create more than 11,000 jobs.

Extending beyond residential development, Godrej Ventures, the Group's real estate private equity arm, has invested around ₹1,000 crore in Haryana. It plans to invest an additional ₹3,500 crore into Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram. These planned investments are anticipated to generate more than 30,000 direct and indirect jobs, strengthening the commercial ecosystem of the city.

Rakesh Swami, Group Head and President -Corporate Affairs, Godrej Industries Group, stated that the MOU reaffirms the Group's confidence in Haryana as a long-term investment destination, appreciating the favorable investment environment fostered by the state government across residential, commercial development, and wider infrastructure ecosystems.

The Group's wider operational businesses are also active in the state. Godrej Capital operates five branches across Haryana, having facilitated approximately ₹550 crore in bookings through its financing business. Godrej Consumer Products maintains a network of 42 direct distributors and over 250 rural stockists throughout the state.

In terms of social and infrastructure commitments, the Group spends approximately ₹1 crore annually on CSR initiatives and more than ₹10 crore on infrastructure-level initiatives in Haryana. These efforts include strengthening support systems for construction workers, providing weather-related insurance, and supporting the restoration and beautification of public spaces in Karnal and Kurukshetra.
