Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd Reduces Stake in Ardent Steel Private Limited
Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has finalized the transfer of a further tranche of its equity stake in Ardent Steel Private Limited (ASPL). The recent transaction marks a significant reduction in GPIL's holding in the associate company.In previous announcements, GPIL had detailed plans regarding the disposal of its entire stake of 37.85% held in Ardent Steel Private Limited. This comprehensive disposal was originally noted to yield a total consideration of Rs 90.87 Crores.
The latest update confirms the completion of the third tranche of the stake transfer on 20.04.2026.
According to the details released, Godawari Power and Ispat Limited transferred 7,32,000 equity shares of ASPL to the respective buyer account. This specific transfer was made against a consideration of Rs 22.18 Crores, representing 9.24% of ASPL’s equity shares.
Following the conclusion of the third tranche of the transfer, GPIL's stake in ASPL saw a notable reduction. The company’s equity stake moved from 18.46% down to 9.22%.
