Godavari Biorefineries Reappoints Directors Following Shareholder Approval​

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has announced the re-appointment of two key directors, Mr Nitin Mehta and Dr Sangeeta Srivastava, following a shareholder approval obtained through a Postal Ballot Notice on May 22, 2026.

The company confirmed that these appointments are subject to shareholder approval. The board moved forward with the re-appointments of both individuals as part of its governance updates.

Mr Nitin Mehta was re-appointed as an Independent Director. His appointment tenure covers a period of five years, beginning from July 1, 2026. The company stated that there is no inter-se relationship between Mr Mehta and any other director. Furthermore, he has not been debarred from holding the office of Directors by virtue of any order passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other authority.

Dr Sangeeta Srivastava was re-appointed as a Whole Time Director, designated as an Executive Director. Her re-appointment term is set for three years, effective from August 1, 2026. Similar to Mr Mehta, Dr Srivastava has no inter-se relationship with any other director and is not debarred from holding the office of Directors by any authority.
