Capri Global Capital Limited Approves Re-appointments of Key Directors and Chief Risk Officer​

Capri Global Capital Limited’s Board of Directors, in a meeting held on June 16, 2026, reviewed and approved the re-appointment of several key managerial personnel. The decisions included extending the tenures of three directors and re-appointing the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Director Re-appointments and Profiles

The Board recommended the re-appointment of Mr. Rajesh Sharma as a Director, who retires by rotation. Additionally, two Independent Directors were re-appointed for subsequent terms: Dr. Nupur Mukherjee and Mr. Shishir Priyadarshi.

These appointments are subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM). The key details regarding the appointed directors are summarized below:


Professional Profiles of Directors:

• Mr. Rajesh Sharma: He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience in Capital Market and Financial Advisory Services. His expertise includes corporate finance, investment banking, merchant banking, and asset financing, having been instrumental in helping the Company become a leading financial services player in India.
• Dr. Nupur Mukherjee: A distinguished technology and business leader, she possesses extensive experience in global banking, financial services, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. Dr. Mukherjee has held senior leadership roles, including Global Managing Director roles with international institutions like Standard Chartered Bank and Barclays across Asia and Europe. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Mumbai.
• Mr. Shishir Priyadarshi: A former IAS officer, Mr. Priyadarshi has over four decades of experience in public administration, international economic policy, infrastructure development, and regulatory affairs. He was notably the first Indian civil servant to serve as Director at the World Trade Organization (WTO). Currently, he serves as President -Global Relations for the Adani Group.

All three directors disclosed that they are not related to any other Directors/Key Managerial Personnel of the Company. Furthermore, all three were confirmed not to be debarred from holding the office of a Director by SEBI or any such authority.

Chief Risk Officer Re-appointment

The Board Meeting also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Sanjeev Srivastava as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for a period of three years, commencing from October 31, 2026.

Mr. Srivastava is a seasoned risk management professional with over 24 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. His expertise covers enterprise risk management, credit risk, operational risk, and risk governance. Prior to his tenure with Capri Global Capital Limited, he served as Chief Risk Officer at IIFL Finance Limited and held positions within organizations including Karvy Financial Services Limited, GE Money, ICICI Bank, and Reliance Group.

Today, Capri Global Capital Limited shares edged higher in post-market trading to settle at ₹217.88 after gaining 1.88%. The strong performance saw the equity rise to test its 52-week high, with over 6.32 million shares traded today.
