GOCL Corporation Limited Receives 'No Objection' from NSE for Merger of Hinduja National Power

GOCL Corporation Limited has received a 'No Objection' observation letter from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) regarding its proposed Scheme of Merger by Absorption of Hinduja National Power Corporation Limited (HNPCL). The scheme involves the merger of HNPCL (the Transferor Company) into GOCL Corporation Limited (the Transferee Company).

The merger structure involves the respective shareholders of both companies under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.

While the 'No Objection' from NSE is a significant milestone, GOCL Corporation Limited stated that the proposed scheme remains subject to the receipt of various other applicable statutory and regulatory approvals. The observation letter from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited enables the Company to proceed with filing the draft scheme with the NCLT.
