Mitigation measures included sourcing LNG/Natural Gas from the spot market and alternative suppliers.
  • Tax Dispute: The company is contesting two provisional tariff orders issued by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) at the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL). Furthermore, regarding a Central Excise Department order confirmed by CESTAT concerning Naphtha classification, the demand amounted to 2,889 crore (with interest reaching 3,799 crore up to June 30, 2026). The company has appealed this matter before the Supreme Court and secured a stay after depositing 20 crore and furnishing security of 132 crore.
