Officials from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) conducted a surprise visit at the company's Greater Noida facility on March 24, 2026. During this visit, certain product samples were taken, and some inventory was seized. The officials at the time indicated that a formal communication or notice would be issued subsequently.

The company explained that at that juncture, the information available was preliminary and incomplete. They noted that a formal notice from BIS, detailing the proposed course of action, was pending. Consequently, the company undertook an internal assessment, consulting with its legal advisors to evaluate the event's implications, including the materiality of the event, while awaiting complete and accurate facts from BIS.

After no further communication was received from BIS within a reasonable timeframe, and to ensure transparency and avoid potential delays, the company proceeded to make the disclosure on a suo motu basis to the Stock Exchanges.

The company emphasized that the delay was not intentional or deliberate. Instead, it arose from the necessity to verify facts, assess materiality, and await official confirmation from the regulatory authority.
