Fujiyama Power Systems Limited, a prominent provider of rooftop solar solutions across India, has announced the commissioning of its new power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. This strategic expansion strengthens the company's integrated capabilities within the vast rooftop solar value chain.

The newly commissioned facility possesses an installed manufacturing capacity of 2 GW and will be dedicated to producing a range of critical power electronics products, including solar inverters, UPS systems, and related solutions. The commissioning follows the successful launch of Fujiyama’s 2 GW solar panel manufacturing facility earlier this year.

With the addition of the Ratlam facility, the company's overall power electronics manufacturing capacity has increased to 4.2 GW. This milestone underscores Fujiyama's commitment to meeting the rapidly growing demand within the domestic rooftop solar market.

Pawan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Fujiyama Power Systems Limited, commented on the development, stating that the commissioning represents a significant step in the company’s growth trajectory. He noted that strengthening power electronics manufacturing capabilities allows the company to deliver high-quality, reliable products while improving supply chain integration. Mr. Garg added that the Ratlam complex will further bolster its integrated manufacturing platform as the battery manufacturing facility progresses according to plan.

Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has 30 years of experience and operates across three facilities spanning Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, in addition to the new complex at Ratlam. The company is a major B2C provider, serving Indian households through an extensive network of over 8,900 channel partners, ensuring seamless delivery, installation, and after-sales support.

In terms of solar cell production capacity, Fujiyama has commissioned 1 GW of Mono PERC solar cell capacity. Furthermore, the company has initiated an additional 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell capacity expansion to capture opportunities in India's accelerating DCR solar panels market.
