Finbud Financial Services Limited has reported significant operational growth for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27. The company achieved a total revenue of Rs 83.2 crore, marking a substantial 39% year-on-year (YoY) increase. This performance is supported by strong showings across both its agency and digital business verticals.

The Q1 results demonstrate the increasing reliance on Finbud’s digital segment. The company's total sales revenue stood at Rs 83.2 crore, up from Rs 59.7 crore in Q1 FY2025-26. Digital Business Sales contributed Rs 15.7 crore to this total, reflecting a robust 116% YoY growth, while the Agency Business secured Rs 67.5 crore, achieving 29% YoY growth.

Finbud maintained its projected margin profile for the period, while increasing the balance of revenue towards digital channels. The Agency and Digital revenues were recorded at a ratio of 81:19 in Q1 FY26-27, compared to 88:12 in Q1 FY25-26.

Growth in Digital Business (ZAP)​

The company’s digital business (ZAP) is identified as a primary engine for growth and continues to show strong performance across its product categories. The ZAP segment achieved 19% of the overall business revenue in Q1 FY26-27, up from 12% in Q1 FY25-26. Management expressed confidence in achieving a full-year turnover projection of Rs 75 crore from digital businesses, which would translate to approximately an 80% YoY growth.

Digital product performance includes notable disbursements across credit categories:

  • Personal Loans: Disbursal stood at approximately 350 crore in Q1 FY26-27, up from around 200 crore in Q1 FY25-26.
  • Gold Loans: The company recorded circa 360 crore in gold loan disbursements during the quarter. Gold loans were previously non-existent until Q2 FY25-26, and cumulatively, Finbud executed 500 crore of gold loan disbursal in FY26.

Finbud is also expanding into Health & Wellness services within its digital vertical. In Q1 FY26-27, ZAP processed approximately 2,800 policies in this segment, generating a premium collection of 1.5 crore and revenues amounting to Rs 99 lacs, contributing 6.3% toward overall ZAP Q1 revenues.

Internally, Finbud has fortified its ZAP team by hiring entrepreneurial leaders and executives from organizations such as P&G, Flipkart, Axis Bank, and Nuvama across Data Science, Health & Wellness, and Gold Loan categories to support new category expansion.

Agency Business Performance​

The agency business continued its steady trajectory of 29% growth year-on-year. The company successfully added 261 new agents or sub-DSAs, including Akiko Global Services Ltd (listed on the NSE Emerge exchange). This addition brought the total master agent strength to 1,776, marking a 17% YoY increase in this segment.

LTCV Credit Private Limited (Equall) Updates​

The subsidiary, Equall, reported key operational milestones for Q1 FY26-27. The company’s loan book stood at Rs 15.9 crore by the end of the quarter. In Q1 alone, Equall disbursed loans amounting to Rs 6.7 crore, achieving an average Return on Investment (ROI) of 25%.

The business focus remains on reaching break even status by the close of the current financial year, which marks one percent of its launch full-year target. Furthermore, the company secured a first round of debt funding totaling Rs 2 crore from Northern Arc and initiated co-lending discussions with Northern Arc. Management is also engaged in conversations regarding incremental capitalization alongside investment from the parent entity, aiming to complete this process by Q2 FY26-27.

Ajay Vikram Singh was approved as MD/CEO of Equall, bringing over two decades of experience in lending, including leadership roles at Citibank, Clix Capital, Paytm, and HSBC.
