Executive Changes at Voltas Limited: Mr. Jaitly to Retire as Head Sales, Unitary Products Business; Mr. Karan Sehgal to Join​

Voltas Limited announced significant leadership changes regarding its Unitary Products Business with the retirement of a senior executive and the appointment of a new leader, effective in 2026 and 2027. The company confirmed that Mr. Jogesh Jaitly will retire from his position as Head Sales, Unitary Products Business upon superannuation.

Mr. Jaitly, who has been associated with Voltas for over a decade, is set to retire on March 31, 2027. During his tenure, he made substantial contributions to the growth and development of the Room Air Conditioning business at the company.

As part of its leadership succession planning, Voltas Limited confirmed that Mr. Karan Sehgal will join the organization as a Senior Management Personnel on August 3, 2026. Following a structured transition programme, Mr. Sehgal is scheduled to assume responsibility as Head Sales, Unitary Products Business, effective from October 1, 2026.

Mr. Sehgal joins Voltas having built an accomplished career at ITC Limited. His previous experience includes serving as General Manager for Marketing Development in the tobacco division. He brings extensive expertise in leading large and diverse sales organizations, strengthening route to market capabilities, driving commercial excellence, and delivering sustained business growth across highly competitive markets. Mr. Sehgal holds a management degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi.

Mr. Jaitly will continue working closely with Mr. Sehgal until his retirement date on March 31, 2027, ensuring an orderly and seamless transfer of responsibilities for the Unitary Products Business.

VOLTAS Stock Price Movement​

Voltas Limited shares slipped today, settling at ₹1311.1 after shedding 0.51% in post-market trading. The stock traded within an intraday range of ₹1295.5 to ₹1318.8 and recorded a total volume of 280,794 shares.
