Segment Performance and Business Updates​

The company's business performance varied across its segments in Q1 FY27. Domestic Formulations contributed Rs 569 crores to revenue, representing a 3.0% increase year-over-year. However, the segment was impacted by subdued performance in select key brands, including Zifi, Enerzal, and Simyl MCT. The US business specifically reported revenue of Rs 34 crores, marking a dramatic Y-o-Y increase of 118.4%. Meanwhile, International Formulations from regions outside the US generated Rs 39 crores, growing by 47.7%. During this quarter, FDC received U.S. FDA approval for Cefixime for Oral Suspension USP 100mg/5mL and 200mg/5mL.

The APIs business recorded sales of Rs 24 crores in Q1 FY27, reflecting a decline of 2.9% year-over-year. This segment accounted for approximately 4% of consolidated sales.
