EUROBOND Achieves Expanded NABL Accreditation, Becoming India's Sole ACP Brand Accredited for 51 Testing Parameters

MUMBAI: Euro Panel Products Limited’s flagship brand, EUROBOND, has secured a significant milestone by broadening its in-house testing laboratory accreditation scope. The company now possesses NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation covering 51 comprehensive mechanical and chemical testing parameters. This expansion marks the firm as the only Indian ACP brand to achieve such extensive NABL certification specifically for Aluminium Honeycomb Panels.

The expanded certification demonstrates EUROBOND’s competence in accurately testing the coating and mechanical aspects of Aluminium and Metal Composite Panels (ACP). Initially certified in September 2025, Euro Panel Products Limited has now moved from an initial scope covering 16 parameters to a comprehensive coverage across all relevant material characteristics for coil, core, MCP, and ACP products.

This certification requires strict adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, mandating rigorous verification of all lab equipment, maintaining specialized staff competence, and retaining technical assessments and quality documents for a mandatory period of three years.

Setting Industry Standards through Independent Verification

The NABL accreditation ensures that the testing conducted by EUROBOND aligns precisely with international benchmarks crucial for long-term architectural integrity. Architectural projects rely heavily on global material standards including IS, ASTM, AAMA, and EN. Securing this certification means the EUROBOND laboratory conducts these critical assessments exactly as specified by international norms, providing scientifically backed assurance in all test reports.

NABL is a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA), ensuring that EUROBOND’s testing and calibration results are internationally recognized and accepted.

In a sector where manufacturers often conduct their own internal quality checks, this independent, third-party accreditation provides customers with an objective standard of quality. By obtaining the NABL logo on its reports, EUROBOND offers clients data validated by external accreditation bodies, providing a clear reference point for architects and material specifiers planning 10 to 20 year exterior warranties.

Mr. Divyam Shah, Whole Time Director and CFO of Euro Panel Products Limited, stated that the achievement embodies the company’s commitment to transparency. "In an industry where claims are easy to make and hard to verify, we wanted our words backed by proof, not promises," he said. He added that this internationally recognized benchmark allows any customer or consultant to check the data within the reports, ensuring complete accuracy and unbiased scrutiny.

Commitment to Quality and Global Reach

This advanced accreditation complements EUROBOND’s diverse portfolio of stringent industry certifications. The company holds BIS certification, TÜV ISO 9001-2015, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, NFPA 285 for fire testing of wall assemblies, Certifire for the FR Class A2 fire retardant panel, and the Thomas Bell Wright certification for its Fire Retardant panels (Eurocomb, Eurocore, and FR Plus).

EUROBOND has been a pioneer in India's metal cladding and architectural facade industry since its establishment in 2002. The company operates an advanced manufacturing facility in Umbergaon, Gujarat, boasting an installed annual production capacity of 10 million square meters. Recognized as a One Star Export House by the Government of India, Euro Panel Products Limited exports its product portfolio to over 23 countries spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. The company was also the first Indian manufacturer in its sector to be listed on both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange.
