Essar Shipping Board Approves Up To Rs 10 Crore Loan from Non-Related Parties
Essar Shipping Limited announced that its Board of Directors approved availing a loan from two parties: Abhinand Ventures Private Limited and/or Niwas Residential & Commercial Properties Private Limited. The approval was granted during the Board meeting held on July 4, 2026.The non-related party loan provides Essar Shipping with access to funds amounting up to Rs. 10 Crore. The terms of the loan stipulate that it is repayable on demand.
The financial assistance is intended to meet various operational and corporate needs of the company. These purposes include working capital requirements, repayment of outstanding dues, and general day-to-day business activities.
The Company stated that while the loan approval has been granted by the Board, Essar Shipping Limited has not yet entered into the final loan agreements. The necessary disclosures regarding the transaction will be disseminated on the Stock Exchanges once all agreements are executed.
