Embassy REIT and Hilton Launch Hilton Garden Inn at Bengaluru TechVillage, Boosting Hospitality Infrastructure
Embassy Office Parks REIT and Hilton have jointly announced the opening of the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bengaluru. The launch marks a significant expansion of hospitality services within Embassy TechVillage, one of Bengaluru's primary business parks located on Outer Ring Road.The new 211 key hotel is strategically situated within Embassy TechVillage, which hosts numerous leading global corporations across sectors such as technology, financial services, consulting, and global capability centers. The opening serves as the first phase of a larger upcoming 529 key dual branded Hilton development at the site. This initiative aims to strengthen the hospitality infrastructure along Bengaluru's vital Outer Ring Road corridor.
Embassy TechVillage is described as a large scale business ecosystem that accommodates over 100,000 users, integrating high quality office spaces with connectivity, retail, food and beverage offerings, recreation, and hospitality services. The arrival of Hilton Garden Inn further enhances this integrated park, providing amenities for occupiers, employees, business travelers, and visitors.
This new opening builds upon the existing relationship between Embassy REIT and Hilton, complementing previous properties in the portfolio, including the 619 key dual branded Hilton Hotels at Embassy Manyata and the 247 key Hilton Hotel at Embassy GolfLinks.
Speaking on the venture, Jitu Virwani, Chairman of the Embassy Group, stated that Embassy consistently aims to develop integrated destinations extending beyond just office space. He emphasized that the partnership with Hilton strengthens the hospitality and lifestyle infrastructure within their portfolio. Alan Watts, President of Asia Pacific for Hilton, noted that the hotel is an important milestone in a decade long partnership, adding that Bengaluru remains one of India's most dynamic hospitality markets driven by corporate demand and global travel.
The Hilton Garden Inn features 211 rooms designed for intuitive functionality, offering guests efficient workspaces and flexible meeting facilities. Amenities include a temperature controlled outdoor pool and a 24 hour fitness center, ensuring a comprehensive experience for productivity and comfort.
The hotel’s dining concept is anchored by two distinct restaurant experiences. Desi Quotient (DQ) focuses on regional Indian food in a social setting, while Merigo provides global flavors with a contemporary twist through all day dining. Andrew Ling, Regional Head of Focused Service and All Suites brands at Hilton Asia Pacific, added that the brand hits a sweet spot in Bengaluru's evolving market by combining modern design, reliable service, and a strong food and beverage offering for both business and leisure travelers.
This new property brings the total number of Hilton properties in Bengaluru to 13, establishing it as Hilton’s largest cluster in India. The hotel is part of Hilton Honors, the global guest loyalty program.
