EaseMyTrip Founder Nishant Pitti Joins Global Icons at Stars Golf League Mauritius Launch
Nishant Pitti, Founder and Chairman of EaseMyTrip, joined global sporting icons and distinguished personalities at the launch of the Stars Golf League Mauritius. The event marks the beginning of a ten-year ambition to establish Mauritius as a premier global luxury sporting destination.The unveiling of the new global golfing spectacle took place at 'The Opening Swing,' an exclusive cocktail reception held at Sugar Beach, Flic en Flac, on August 22, 2026. The event gathered various prominent figures, including cricketing legend Kapil Dev, acclaimed actor R. Madhavan, and former World No. 1 doubles player Mahesh Bhupathi.
The Stars Golf League Mauritius is set to take place from March 25 to 28, 2027. The four-day event will feature 36 global icons competing across six teams, including 24 golfing legends, 6 lady golfers, and 6 celebrity golfers. Confirmed participants include Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie, AB de Villiers, Kapil Dev, Ruud Gullit, and Yuvraj Singh. The league will carry a prize purse of USD 1.6 million and will be broadcast live to over 130 countries.

Madhavan, actor and Co-Founder of the Stars Golf League, highlighted that the league distinguishes itself by blending sport and entertainment in a format designed to connect with audiences beyond traditional golf. He emphasized that the launch is an exciting first step toward creating a global property with a lasting legacy.
The Stars Golf League Mauritius is positioned as an annual platform, aiming to be more than a one-off event. The league follows in the footsteps of the World Tennis League (four seasons) and the World Padel League (three seasons), both initiatives of the same team now behind this Mauritius debut.
