Cyber Media Companies Receive Key Approvals from BSE and NSE for Merger Scheme

Cyber Media Research & Services Limited (CMRSL) and Cyber Media (India) Limited (CMiL) have received crucial clearances from both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) regarding their proposed merger scheme. These approvals allow the companies to proceed with filing the comprehensive scheme before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

The Transferor Company, CMRSL, successfully obtained an Observation Letter from BSE on June 25, 2026, noting 'No adverse observations' concerning the planned corporate action. Similarly, CMiL received a formal ‘No objection’ from NSE on the same date. These clearances specifically relate to the Scheme of Merger where CMRSL is being absorbed into CMiL.

The successful receipt of these regulatory observations positions the companies for their next legal and procedural phase. The approvals from BSE and NSE are integral requirements under the proposed scheme, which involves the restructuring of both entities and their respective shareholders and creditors.

While the approval of BSE and NSE allows the companies to advance the merger process, the completion of the Scheme remains subject to obtaining all other applicable regulatory and court mandates required for final execution.
