Mr. Soumya Bagchi possesses extensive experience in electrical and automation matters. He joined L&T in Electrical & Automation (E&A) Business as a GET in 1994. The E&A business was acquired by Schneider Electric India Private Limited, a sister concern of the Company, in August 2020.Mr. Bagchi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University Kolkata and has attended leadership programs at Ross Business School and INSEAD. Over his 30+ years, he has held various roles encompassing P&L Ownership, Product & Solution development, Business development, Projects & Contract Management, and Manufacturing operations.
Prior to his current role as Business Unit Head of MV Equipment - Electrical Systems Equipment (ESE), Mr. Bagchi was heading Project & Contract Management for LV & MV equipment business of ESE for India and MEA.
