Court Dismisses Petitions Against MBL Infrastructure’s Arbitration Award in Uttarakhand Roads Project​

MBL Infrastructure Limited has received a favorable update regarding an arbitration award concerning the 'Improvement and Strengthening of Roads in the District of Udham Singh Nagar' project in Uttarakhand. The Commercial Court, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has dismissed petitions filed by the Public Works Department, Government of Uttarakhand, which had been brought under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The dismissal of these petitions confirms the validity of the arbitration award dated December 14, 2024, which was issued in favor of MBL Infrastructure Limited for the road improvement project in Uttarakhand.

As of July 27, 2026, the value of the Arbitration award, including interest, stands at Rs 82.77 crores. The company noted that further interest on the award is continuing at a rate of 1.2% per annum until the payment is made.
