Coal India Limited Announces 52nd AGM Details and Recommends Final Dividend for FY 2025-26​

Coal India Limited has announced the details regarding its upcoming 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and confirmed the recommendation of a Final Dividend for the Financial Year (FY) 2025-26. The AGM is scheduled to be conducted through Video Conferencing or Other Audio-Visual Means (VC/OAVM).

The meeting is set for Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Shareholders are able to attend the AGM virtually via VC at www.evoting.nsdl.com. The company confirmed that shareholders participating through VC will be counted towards quorum under Section 103 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Dividend Payment and Tax Requirements​

The company confirmed that all dividends will be paid through RBI approved electronic modes only. Physical payments such as warrants, cheques, or demand drafts will not be despatched to shareholders. Shareholders are therefore requested to update their KYC details in their demat accounts to facilitate the online transfer of the dividend directly to their bank accounts.

Shareholders who wish to avail nil, lower, or beneficial deduction of tax at source (TDS) are required to fill out relevant forms and upload documents on the CIL Tax Portal. The company also emphasized that any exemption forms submitted to other portals or outside the specified cut-off date will not be considered.
