CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited has commissioned its new Extra High-Voltage (EHV) switchgear manufacturing facility, S3 Unit-II, located in Pimpalgaon Garudeshwar, Nashik, Maharashtra. This expansion follows the company's existing operations at S3 Unit-I, solidifying CG's position within the electrical engineering industry and expanding its reach across domestic and international markets.The newly commissioned S3 Unit-II is dedicated to manufacturing EHV Circuit Breakers in the 33 kV to 245 kV range. The facility is equipped with advanced infrastructure, including state-of-the-art 500 kV and 350 kV high-voltage testing laboratories. This new capacity addition significantly enhances CG's existing capabilities in power transmission equipment.
The commissioning marks a key step in the company's growth trajectory, responding to huge demand and existing capacity constraints within its established manufacturing base. The investment made into the new facility is Rs. 39.49 crore and will be financed through internal accruals.
