CESC Limited Awards Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project Contracts
CESC Limited announced on March 17, 2026, that it has issued Letters of Award to four entities for Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects. The awards follow a response to a Request for Selection document issued by CESC, aligned with guidelines from the Ministry of Power, GoI.The awarded entities are Purvah Green Power Private Limited, Vismaya Renewables India Project Private Limited, Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited, and Sprng Energy Private Limited. Purvah, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, was awarded a contract to supply 300 MW of Wind-Solar Hybrid Power. Vismaya, Hexa and Sprng Energy each received contracts to supply 100 MW.
The power purchase agreements with these entities will be in effect for 25 years. The applicable tariff for Purvah is Rs. 3.75 per kWh, while Vismaya, Hexa and Sprng Energy will receive Rs. 3.74 and Rs. 3.75 per kWh respectively.
