
Mumbai, January 5, 2026: Central Bank of India (BSE: 532885 | NSE: CENTRALBK) reported strong growth in its key business metrics for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, reflecting sustained momentum in advances and deposits.
During the third quarter of FY26, the bank’s total business expanded 15.8% year-on-year to ₹7.74 lakh crore, compared with ₹6.69 lakh crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a year-to-date basis, total business growth stood at 10.18%.
Deposits and CASA Performance
Total deposits rose 13.23% YoY to ₹4.51 lakh crore as of December 31, 2025, up from ₹3.98 lakh crore a year ago. On a sequential basis since March 2025, deposits increased 9.17%.CASA deposits stood at ₹2.12 lakh crore, registering an 8.53% year-on-year growth. However, the CASA ratio moderated to 47.12%, compared with 49.18% in the year-ago period, indicating a shift in deposit mix amid rising term deposit mobilisation.
Advances Growth Drives Business Expansion
Gross advances recorded a sharp 19.57% YoY growth, reaching ₹3.24 lakh crore at the end of Q3 FY26, compared with ₹2.71 lakh crore in the same quarter last year. On a year-to-date basis, advances were up 11.61%, underlining strong credit demand across segments.The credit-deposit (CD) ratio improved to 72.06%, up from 68.25% a year ago, reflecting higher credit deployment and improved balance sheet utilisation.
