Central Bank of India Names General Manager Shri Raj Kokil Singh as Chief Risk Officer​

Central Bank of India has appointed General Manager Shri Raj Kokil Singh as its Chief Risk Officer (CRO). The appointment, which is effective from April 20, 2026, grants him a fixed tenure of three years.

Shri Raj Kokil Singh assumes the role following Dr. G. Bhaskar, General Manager, who previously managed the Bank's Treasury portfolio.

Profile and Experience​

Shri Raj Kokil Singh, aged 44, joined the Central Bank of India in 2012. He brings over 19 years of experience in the banking industry to the role.

His educational background includes a Bachelors in Science and a Master's in Business Administration. He is certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) certified by GARP, in addition to being a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

Shri Kokil Singh has prior professional experience with Union Bank of India and Syndicate Bank. His expertise spans multiple areas, including Risk Management, Credit, Treasury Mid office, Asset Liability Management (ALM), and General Banking. He also previously served as the Deputy Zonal Head for the Kolkata Zone of the Bank.
