Canarys Automations Limited will utilize an advanced array of technologies for this project. These include drone-based LiDAR terrain and water body mapping, smart 4G telemetry loggers, and 80 GHz microwave radar water level sensors. The work also entails integrated 1D/2D hydraulic simulation models to pave the way for an intelligent digital twin model of GNIDA that can help simulate flood impact and provide solutions during the city's expansion.

Commenting on the importance of the contract, Mr. Srinivas Rao, AVP at Canarys, stated that the selection serves as a critical commercial validation of the company’s water-management solution. He noted that this project demonstrates how their Flood Decision Support solution can be applied to India's most important economic hubs, building upon previous successful projects in Gorakhpur and Chennai.

Mr. Rao added that the consecutive stream of public wins solidifies Canarys' acceptability among major state and industrial authorities, proving that the company’s technology stack operates effectively at an enterprise scale. The project offers a significant opportunity for the company’s engineering and data science teams to pioneer fieldscale deployments of IoT, AI based decision support software, and spatial data analytics, assisting in the protection of the industrial township for the next twenty-five years.
