Currency Markets React to Dollar’s Strength
The dollar climbed 0.1% to 162.48 yen, marking its strongest level since July 9th. This move reflected a flight toward safe-haven assets amid rising global tensions. Federal Reserve Outlook and Cryptocurrency Movements
Attention remains focused on the Federal Reserve regarding its next meeting scheduled for July 29th. Fed funds futures now price in an implied 85.6% probability of a rate hold, substantially up from the 61.5% chance seen a month earlier, according to the CME Group's FedWatch tool.Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack previously added her perspective to policymakers arguing that interest rates may need to increase to successfully combat persistent inflation.
