Blue Cloud Softech Launches India's First AI Multilingual FIR Recorder 'AI -CopWriter' for Hyderabad Police
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BSE: 539607) has successfully deployed 'AI -CopWriter', an application described by the Hyderabad City Police as India's first AI-powered multilingual complaint-recording tool. This development was accomplished through collaboration with the IT Cell of the Hyderabad City Police and was formally launched by the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) in Banjara Hills on July 6, 2026.AI-CopWriter is designed to address language barriers for citizens filing complaints. The application allows a citizen to narrate their complaint in their mother tongue, which it then transcribes and translates into a complete First Information Report (FIR) draft within seconds. It supports over ten major Indian languages and includes automatic language detection capabilities.
Each generated document serves as a tamper-evident PDF. This ensures record integrity by automatically embedding crucial metadata, such as the FIR number, the names of the complainant and accused, the recording officer's name and badge identification, the police station details, and the relevant sections of law.
The Hyderabad City Police intend to roll out this application across their network of police stations in the city, aiming to standardize multilingual complaint registration across all units.
Enhancing Justice and Record Integrity
AI-CopWriter is built with multiple public value objectives, as highlighted by the project's design. These include:- Equal access to justice, ensuring a complainant's language is not a barrier at the police station.
- Faster filing, converting spoken complaints into an FIR draft in seconds instead of hours, reducing reliance on human interpreters.
- Higher investigation quality due to verbatim and attributed capture of statements.
- Record integrity through tamper-evident PDFs that standardize recordkeeping with embedded case metadata.
Sri Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman of the Blue Cloud Group, noted the significance of the tool, stating, "A grandmother, a migrant worker, a visitor -each can now walk into a police station in Hyderabad and be understood, in their own words, in their own language." He thanked the Hyderabad City Police for partnering to build India's first AI multilingual FIR recorder.
