Bhatia Colour Chem Ltd has completed the conversion of a portion of its warrants into equity shares following approval by its Board of Directors. The allottees in the Promoter Group remitted a balance amount aggregating to Rs. 1,99,39,200/- for the conversion. This payment was made at a rate of Rs. 100.50 per warrant (representing 75% of the issue price).

The conversion of warrants into equity shares was completed at an issue price of Rs. 134 each (including a premium of Rs. 124 per share).
Following the allotment of these new securities, Bhatia Colour Chem Ltd's issued and paid-up capital has been increased to Rs. 14,33,77,470/-, comprising 1,43,37,747 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each. The newly allotted equity shares hold a pari-passu rank with the existing share capital.
The company noted that 22,96,003 warrants remain outstanding for conversion. Warrant holders were required to exercise the option for conversion by paying the balance 75% of the issue price (Rs. 100.50 per warrant) within 18 months from the date of warrant allotment. As the last date for exercising this conversion option has expired, any unexercised warrants for which the balance consideration was not received will be subject to forfeiture according to the terms of issue.
