Bank of Baroda has been appointed by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) to serve as a Sponsor of a Pension Fund. The Bank received the Letter of Appointment from the regulatory body under the PFRDA (Registration of Pension Funds) Guidelines, 2026.Following this key development, Bank of Baroda plans to establish a dedicated Pension Fund Management Company. This initiative is subject to receiving other necessary regulatory approvals.
The Bank stated that it will issue further disclosures to the market as and when any material developments occur concerning this undertaking.
