The new Centre of Excellence, located in Tunikibollaram, Hyderabad, was built to support growing commitments to the global energy technology company, Baker Hughes, aligning with global manufacturing standards.The facility's inauguration ceremony was attended by several industry leaders, including Shri. The facility represents a deep and strategic manufacturing collaboration that originated from a challenging engagement in 2018. Initially focused on supplying critical rotating airfoils for Gas & Steam Turbine Finish stages, the partnership has evolved substantially. Over the years, Azad Engineering successfully navigated stringent global qualification pathways, achieving approvals for multiple grades of raw material, complex process validations, and product-level components set by Baker Hughes.The company utilized vertical integration, advanced quality systems, and state-of-the-art infrastructure to build a reputation for delivering components with micron-level precision, even under the most demanding timelines and specifications. Today, Azad is a key participant in the Baker Hughes Oilfield Services and Equipment program, integrating into the client's global supply chain strategy.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Davide Marrani, Vice President- IET Operations at Baker Hughes, stated that the new facility is a major milestone strengthening Baker Hughes' global supply chain and supporting long-term growth.
