Aster DM Quality Care Limited, a leading integrated healthcare provider in India, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported robust growth across both the combined proforma and segmental levels following the merger of Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care India.

The merged entity demonstrated significant operational strength, with combined proforma revenue reaching INR 2,597 Cr in Q1 FY27. This represents a 20% year-on-year (YoY) increase. The company's operating EBITDA saw a considerable rise of 30% YoY, amounting to INR 576 Cr.

The company served two million people in its Outpatient (OP) and Inpatient (IP) departments during Q1 FY27, which is a 13% increase compared to the previous year.

Divisional Performance Details​

Aster DM Healthcare division recorded strong performance, with its operating EBITDA (ex-Kasaragod) rising by 30% YoY to INR 279 Cr. The Op. EBITDA margin for this segment stood at 21.7%, compared to 20.0% in Q1 FY26. Furthermore, Normalised PAT 1 (ex-Kasaragod) grew 46% YoY to INR 131 Cr, and the total patient volume increased by 16% YoY.

The Quality Care division also saw growth, reporting a 32% YoY rise in operating EBITDA, reaching INR 299 Cr. The segment's operating EBITDA margin was reported at 23.2%. Total patient volume for the Quality Care division grew by 10% YoY.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Varun Khanna, Managing Director & Group CEO, stated that the formation of Aster DM Quality Care marks a significant moment for patients, doctors, staff, and the industry. He noted that in this new chapter, the company remains committed to patient care, enabling operations through technology, and clinical outcomes.

"Aster DM Quality Care on a combined proforma basis achieved a revenue of INR 2,597 Cr, a growth of 20% YoY, with an EBITDA Margin expansion of +170 bps at 22.2%, on the back of an operating EBITDA increase of 30% to INR 576 Cr," Mr. Khanna said. He added that focusing on disciplined execution and operational excellence would be key to unlocking the full potential of the combined platform in the coming quarters.

Dr. Azad Moopen, Executive Chairman, spoke about the merger as a defining milestone in the organization’s history. He noted that by combining Aster, CARE Hospitals, KIMS India, and Evercare into a unified network, the company now boasts over 10,800 beds across 28 cities. The leadership aims to expand this network to more than 15,000 beds in the coming years, emphasizing that their philosophy involves greater scale, clinical excellence, and impact while maintaining affordable healthcare standards.
