
Asian Paints Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Results with Double-Digit Growth in Consolidated and Standalone Revenue
Mumbai, July 29, 2026: Asian Paints Limited today announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY'27), reporting robust growth across all key segments. The company showcased a strong start to the fiscal year, driven by positive performance in both its consolidated and standalone operations.The Board of Directors approved the audited standalone and unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter.
Consolidated Financial Performance
The Group achieved significant top-line growth, with Consolidated Net Sales increasing by 17.9% to ₹ 10,521.4 crore, up from ₹ 8,924.5 crore in the previous year's corresponding period.Profitability metrics also showed substantial improvement across the consolidated results:
- Consolidated Profit before depreciation, interest, tax and other income (PBDIT) rose by 33.5% to ₹ 2,168.8 crore, up from ₹ 1,625.0 crore.
- The PBDIT Margin as a percentage of Net Sales increased to 20.6%, compared to 18.2% in the prior year.
- Profit before tax saw a rise of 38.9%, reaching ₹ 2,095.7 crore from ₹ 1,508.7 crore.
- Net Profit after minority interest increased by 40.0% to ₹ 1,539.3 crore from ₹ 1,099.8 crore.
Standalone Results and Business Segments
On a standalone basis, the company recorded Net Sales of ₹ 9,156.5 crore, reflecting a 16.7% increase from ₹ 7,848.8 crore. The company maintained strong profitability in its standalone operations:- Standalone PBDIT increased by 32.2% to ₹ 2,011.7 crore, up from ₹ 1,521.1 crore.
- The Standalone PBDIT Margin stood at 22.0%, an improvement from 19.4% in the previous year.
- Profit before tax increased by 34.9% to ₹ 1,982.0 crore, compared to ₹ 1,469.5 crore.
- Net Profit rose by 34.3% to ₹ 1,478.4 crore from ₹ 1,100.5 crore.
Segment Highlights
The company detailed performance across its key business areas:International Business: Net Sales for the International business grew by 27.2% to ₹ 936.5 crore (up from ₹ 736.1 crore), with a corresponding increase of 20.3% in constant currency terms. Profit before tax reached ₹ 74.1 crore, marking a 94.9% rise.
Home Décor Business:
- The Kitchen business saw Net Sales climb by 10.1%, reaching ₹ 108.0 crore from ₹ 98.1 crore, and the Loss before tax reduced to ₹ 0.3 crore against ₹ 8.8 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
- Bath Fittings maintained a net sales figure of ₹ 84.9 crore, which represented a 4.3% decrease from ₹ 88.7 crore and registered a Loss before tax of ₹ 8.8 crore against ₹ 2.3 crore in the prior period.
- White Teak recorded Net Sales of ₹ 18.7 crore, a 7.4% decline, while Weatherseal saw an 11.2% increase with sales at ₹ 16.9 crore.
Industrial Business:
- APPPG registered a 21.3% increase in Net Sales, achieving ₹ 372.9 crore from the previous year's ₹ 307.4 crore. Profit before tax was ₹ 25.8 crore, up slightly from ₹ 24.8 crore.
- PPGAP reported a 13.5% increase in Net Sales, growing to ₹ 651.9 crore from ₹ 574.5 crore. Profit before tax stood at ₹ 102.7 crore against ₹ 97.3 crore.

Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO of Asian Paints Limited, commented on the results, stating that the performance reflects the company's innovation-led strategy and deepening consumer connection."We started FY27 on a good note, building on the momentum of the previous quarter and delivering a strong performance across businesses," he said. "Decorative business grew at a healthy volume growth of 9%, supported by calibrated pricing actions, translating into a robust value growth of 16.6%. Industrial coatings sustained its steady growth trajectory, growing by more than 16% in value."
Syngle further added that the International business showed healthy growth along with margin expansion. He highlighted that Home Décor continued to make steady progress through the Beautiful Homes network, strengthening consumer relationships. The CEO concluded by noting strong profitability, supported by measured price increases, better mix, and disciplined cost management.
