Consequent to this appointment, Mr. Jindal will cease to hold the position of Vice President & Head - Customer Excellence & Operations with effect from close of business hours on May 31, 2026. Castrol India Ltd stated that the company will fill the vacancy created in the Vice President & Head - Customer Excellence & Operations role and will communicate these details separately in due course.

Mr. Anoop Jindal brings 26 years of experience across the domains of sales and business development, channel management, and customer excellence and operations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, and an Executive MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.His professional journey began with BPL Display Devices in 1999, followed by a tenure with Saint-Gobain Abrasives in sales. He joined Castrol in 2005 as a Key Accounts Manager, subsequently holding a range of senior roles.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jindal has led multiple initiatives focused on critical areas including customer acquisition, value delivery, customer experience, compliance, and standardisation, all aimed at driving long-term, profitable growth. He was pivotal in advancing Castrol's digital agenda, strengthening the company's competitive edge through influencer advocacy and digital customer engagement programs.
In his capacity leading the B2B business (FWS and Heavy Duty), he was responsible for driving both strong top-line and bottom-line performance through the expansion of distribution across franchise workshops, building and construction, mining, and fleet segments. In his recent role as Vice President - Customer Excellence & Operations, he led significant structural changes across Castrol India's digital ecosystem and ways of working, building a more agile, competitive, and future-ready organization aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
