Anawil Wire & Engineering Limited, a specialized manufacturer in the tubular wind tower sector, has secured its largest-ever order, valued at Rs 133.98 Cr excluding GST and Rs 140.68 Cr including GST.The order involves the supply of 38 wind turbine towers, designed according to the EN-156/3.3 MW model with 50 Hz and IEC S specifications. These towers are designated for the FDRE wind project in Andhra Pradesh. The project timeline indicates that the order is expected to be completed by Q4 2026-27.
This contract marks a significant milestone in Anawil’s development and enhances the company’s execution visibility as it continues to scale its operations to meet the demands of India's evolving wind energy market.
Operational Capabilities and Strategy
Nimish Kumar Rameshchandra Vashi, Chairman and Managing Director of Anawil, highlighted that securing the company's largest order provides strong validation of the firm's manufacturing capabilities and customer confidence.He stated that the scale of the order, coupled with the company’s expansion plans, offers meaningful execution visibility and strengthens the confidence required for the next phase of growth.
Anawil has expanded its manufacturing base with the addition of a facility in Kutch. Furthermore, the ongoing backward integration of tower internals at its Koppal facility is enhancing in-house value addition and execution control. Management noted that these capabilities provide significant headroom to participate in growing opportunities across the onshore wind energy sector.
