Bengaluru, August 13, 2026 – Amagi Media Labs Limited, a cloud-native SaaS platform providing AI-enabled solutions to global media and entertainment companies, announced strong financial results for Q1 FY27, the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The Company reported a historic quarter, posting revenue of ₹437 Cr, representing a 32.4% year-on-year (Y/Y) increase.

The growth was driven by expanding existing customer relationships and continued adoption of cloud-native streaming, monetization, and broadcast workflows across the media industry.

Financial Performance Highlights​

Amagi Media Labs achieved significant leaps in profitability during Q1 FY27. Adjusted EBITDA rose 201% Y/Y to ₹50 Cr. This efficiency improvement saw the adjusted EBITDA margin expand by 6.4 percentage points (ppts) year-on-year, reaching 11.5%. Profit After Tax (PAT) also surged 760%, reaching ₹34 Cr.

The Company maintains a robust financial position, with cash, including investments and bank balances, standing at ₹1,616 Cr, marking an 118% Y/Y increase, and the company reporting zero debt.

Platform and Operational Momentum​

The results reflect significant operational momentum across the platform and global markets. Amagi delivered services for 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and provided over 300 hours of live programming spanning three global regions.

In market transformations, a major US news network selected Amagi NEWSPULSE, the Company’s flagship AI product, to drive AI transformation within its newsrooms. Over ten pilots are currently underway with various news organizations globally. Furthermore, the company secured major wins including a US news network transitioning its broadcast operations to Amagi and mandates for FAST channel launches from two major US TV networks.

Management Commentary​

Commenting on the Q1 FY27 performance, Baskar Subramanian, Managing Director & CEO, stated that the results confirm a strong beginning to the fiscal year. He highlighted that Adjusted EBITDA tripled to ₹50 Cr, while PAT grew more than eight-fold, setting a new high for quarterly revenue at ₹437 Cr.

Mr. Subramanian noted that the industry is undergoing reconfiguration, and customers are expressing needs for consolidating fragmented workflows, reducing operating costs, and accelerating new revenue generation. He described the Media Industry Cloud as built to capture this $17B opportunity, with AI potentially doubling the addressable market over time.

"We witnessed this demand in our recent successes," Mr. Subramanian added. "Multiple broadcasters are transitioning their operations to our cloud, including two major US networks choosing Amagi to launch their FAST channels. We successfully operated the FIFA World Cup for several of our customers... AI adoption has shifted from intent to implementation."
