Pune/Nagpur, April 21, 2026: Bharti Airtel has announced a major network enhancement, confirming the deployment of over 3,400 new 5G sites across Maharashtra and Goa over the past twelve months. This massive expansion aims to deliver faster speeds, wider coverage, and a significantly improved network experience for customers across the regions.

The network expansion has extended dependable, high-speed coverage across 36 districts, reaching more than 22 million customers. These service enhancements benefit bustling cities, fast-growing towns, and remote rural villages, ensuring connectivity in areas like Gadchiroli, Nandurbar, and Sindhudurg.

Airtel reported that with the addition of more than nine new sites going live daily, customers throughout Maharashtra and Goa can anticipate smoother streaming, faster downloads, reliable online work, and more stable digital payments, regardless of their location or travel plans. This bolstered 5G footprint is designed to provide seamless high-speed access essential for students, micro-businesses, tourists, government institutions, and everyday citizens.
