Adani Green Energy Boosts Renewable Capacity with 292 MW Solar Project Operationalization​

Adani Green Energy Ltd has achieved a significant milestone in its renewable energy infrastructure, announcing the operationalization of a 292 MW solar power project located in Khavda, Gujarat.

The solar project was successfully operationalized by Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited (AGE2 6A L), a wholly owned stepdown subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL).

The capacity expansion marks a major achievement for the group's renewable generation portfolio. With the commissioning of this new plant, AGEL has now reported achieving a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,585.8 MW and a total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 1,376 MWh.

The operationalization of the facility was decided at 7.37 p.m. on April 22, 2026. Power generation from the project commenced the following day, April 23, 2026.

Adani Green Energy Limited shares edged higher to close today at ₹1198.95, rallying 4.16% following the previous session's close. The stock finished near its peak, hitting an impressive 52-week high of ₹1205, amid a day range of ₹1148 to ₹1205 on 4.93 million shares traded.
